Mum cooks it with ikan goreng and fish cakes. His recipe from his page is similar with ours, the only difference is mum uses tomato sauce and honey, ini cara kasi kurang pedas.

I actually tried eating the paste first before try the ones my mum prepared.

The actual sambal is hot 🔥 (deblang kalau nda mo terlampau pedas put 1 sudu ja). Pedas jualah atas bibir sia sikijap 😂 (Kalau makan sama nasi panas ngam ni, jangan blame sia kalau tambah nasi, ko blame tu nah tukang bikin ni sambal).

Deblang teda rasa kalau makan paste but I actually could taste the dried shrimp. Feels like making just the sambal with onions as additional (kasi taru atas telur mata lembu 🤤😋🤣).

Nanti mo try masak with other ingredients too. Main campak ja deblang.
